Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $20 per hour
Hours: 10–15 hours per week, with a potential 20 hours during Open Enrollment
Location: Remote – Florida

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Part-Time Licensed Assistant to join our team.

This is a seasonal position supporting our team during the Open Enrollment Period, with the opportunity to continue based on performance, reliability, and business needs.

The role will primarily focus on customer service, member follow-ups, and payment retention efforts. You will assist existing members with questions and concerns, follow up on outstanding payments and other issues, and help ensure members receive timely and professional support.

ACA enrollments through HealthSherpa may also be part of the role as needed.

  • Someone who is comfortable making outbound calls and communicating with members
  • Individuals who can work independently in a remote environment
  • Previous health insurance and customer service experience is preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service and follow up with members regarding payments, policies, documents, and other concerns
  • Support payment retention efforts and assist with payment-related issues
  • Maintain accurate records of member interactions and follow-ups
  • Assist with ACA enrollments through HealthSherpa when needed
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and the team to resolve member concerns

Qualifications

  • Active Health Insurance License (Required)
  • FFM Certification (Required)
  • 1+ year of customer service experience (Required)
  • ACA enrollment or HealthSherpa experience (Preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and online platforms
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection (50+ Mbps recommended)
  • Quiet workspace and noise-canceling headset
  • Must be located in Florida
  • Background check required

Schedule
