Full time Barista

Barista

Boston Tea Party

Come and be a Good Egg.

We’re looking for brilliant Baristas to join our Boston Tea Party team.

You don't need to be able to pour the perfect flat white on day one. We can teach you that.

What we can't teach quite so easily is warmth, personality and genuinely enjoying making people feel welcome.

Being a Barista at Boston is about much more than standing behind a coffee machine. You'll be part of the whole café — making great coffee, serving brilliant food, chatting to our regulars and jumping in wherever your team needs you.

What you'll be doing

No two shifts at Boston are exactly the same.

One minute you might be making a flat white, the next you're running food to a table, welcoming a family through the door or remembering the order of a regular who's been coming in for years.

You'll:

  • Learn how to make consistently brilliant coffee.

  • Give every guest a genuinely warm Boston welcome.

  • Take orders, serve food and get stuck into all areas of the café.

  • Get to know our regulars and help turn new guests into regulars.

  • Keep the café looking brilliant throughout the day.

  • Learn about our food, coffee and what makes Boston different.

  • Work together when things get busy — because nobody gets left in the weeds at Boston.

  • Bring your own personality to work.

Who we're looking for

Experience is great, but being a Good Egg matters more.

You might already be an experienced barista, have worked in hospitality before or be looking for your very first café job.

What we're really interested in is you.

You'll be someone who:

Makes Connections
You like people. You notice guests, start conversations and understand that sometimes remembering someone's usual order can make their day.

Leads Responsibly
You turn up, get stuck in and look out for the people around you. You care about doing a good job, even when nobody's checking.

Fuels Growth
You're happy to learn. Whether that's making your first espresso, perfecting your latte art or eventually taking your first step into leadership, we'll help you keep developing.

What's in it for you?

We'll teach you everything you need to know to become a brilliant Boston Barista.

You'll learn from experienced people, develop your coffee skills and have opportunities to take on more as you grow.

For some people, Boston is a brilliant job alongside everything else going on in life.

For others, it's the start of a career.

Barista can become Head Barista. Team members can become Assistant Managers. Assistant Managers can become General Managers.

How far you take it is up to you.

You'll also get a great package of Boston benefits and one of the biggest advantages of café life — daytime hospitality without the late-night finishes.

Good Eggs Only

We've been doing things a little differently since 1995.

We care about great coffee, great food, our communities and doing business in a way we're proud of.

But mostly, we're a people business.

We want Boston to be somewhere our guests feel comfortable, our regulars feel known and our teams can genuinely be themselves.

So you don't need to arrive as a coffee expert.

Bring the personality, curiosity and a willingness to get stuck in. We'll teach you the rest.

Sound good?

Come and be a Good Egg.
