Middle Frontend Engineer

We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer who will take responsibility for the quality of user interfaces and build products that are a pleasure to use. You’ll work closely with designers and product managers, write tests to cover your code, and actively use AI tools in your daily work.

Frontend Developer

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using React or Vue.
  • Build reusable and maintainable frontend components.
  • Work closely with designers and product managers to turn product requirements and designs into effective UI solutions.
  • Write and maintain unit and E2E tests covering critical application scenarios.
  • Review tests generated with AI tools, identify gaps, and improve them manually when necessary.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and similar solutions for development, refactoring, debugging, and test creation.
  • Take responsibility for frontend code quality and continuously look for ways to improve it.
  • Contribute to improving usability, consistency, and overall user experience.
  • Participate in technical discussions and contribute to frontend architecture and implementation decisions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of commercial experience developing production applications with React or Vue.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience writing unit and E2E tests using tools such as Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
  • Understanding of how to assess whether tests adequately cover the behavior and risks of an application.
  • Experience reviewing and improving tests generated with AI tools.
  • Openness to exploring new AI-assisted approaches to software development.
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day work.
  • Ability to work effectively with designers and product managers.
  • Language Proficiency: English at B2-C1 level, Russian at B2 level.

Additional experience we value:

  • Previous experience in UI/UX design or close collaboration with UI/UX designers.
  • Understanding of modern design systems and component-based architecture.
  • Experience building and maintaining reusable component libraries.
  • Understanding of web accessibility principles.
  • Experience creating responsive interfaces for different devices and screen sizes.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend development practices and tools.
