[Remote] Senior National Account Manager

The Senior National Account Manager will drive sales performance across key U.S. national retail customers by developing account strategies, managing relationships, overseeing profitability and trade spending, and supporting retail execution. Responsibilities Strategic Account Management Own annual sales targets and business plans for assigned accounts Relationship Building Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts, brokers, and distributor partners to ensure best-in-class execution and long-term growth Retail Execution Conduct store visits as needed to assess in-market performance, identify improvement areas, and ensure execution of trade initiatives Budget Management Guarantee strong profitability of your accounts. Manage trade spending and ensure efficient allocation of promotional dollars within assigned accounts Reporting/Analysis Collaborate with Category on analyzing and interpreting monthly data and sales trends at your accounts Representation Represent Lotus Bakeries at customer meetings, industry conferences, broker summits, and trade shows Skills The Sr. National Account Manager (NAM) is a driven, results-oriented sales professional with a strong understanding of the U.S. retail landscape The ideal candidate takes an entrepreneurial approach to managing both existing and new accounts and has experience calling on major retailers at the HQ level Experience calling on key customers UNFI, KeHE, Whole Foods, Sprouts, and other Natural/Specialty retailers in the marketplace 6+ years or more of progressive CPG experience Understanding of the U.S. retail markets with specific experience managing distributor partners and key retailers across the Natural/Specialty and Grocery channels Solid financial acumen to assess and determine viability of commercial proposals Strong planning, forecasting, trade management, and customer management skills with excellent attention to detail Experience utilizing and analyzing syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, etc.) and applying it to build compelling sales presentations Proven business development track record with a passion to grow the business and sell in innovation Have strong computer skills including an elevated level of proficiency in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint & Excel Food experience a plus Benefits Health Plans Mental Health support A 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match Disability Programs Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts Family-forming benefits Life and Serious Injury Benefits Paid leave of absence programs including paid time off and sick leave Company Overview Lotus Bakeries is active worldwide in the indulgent and natural snacking segment with the Lotus, Lotus Biscoff.
