About the Role

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking experienced PRN Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Therapists to support a federal behavioral health program in the Big Bend region of Texas.

This is an onsite, as-needed leadership opportunity for experienced clinicians who can provide behavioral health services to children and adolescents while bringing clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to the team.

Key Responsibilities

The PRN Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist will:

  • Provide clinical leadership, guidance, mentorship, and day-to-day support to behavioral health team members during assigned coverage
  • Provide onsite behavioral health support to children and adolescents
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments, crisis interventions, clinical evaluations, and treatment planning as appropriate
  • Provide clinical consultation and guidance for complex cases
  • Promote trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based approaches to care
  • Support clinical quality, documentation, compliance, and continuity of services
  • Assist with onboarding, coaching, and clinical guidance for team members as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, program leadership, and multidisciplinary partners
  • Provide leadership coverage during scheduled needs, call-outs, vacations, staffing shortages, or periods of increased program demand
  • Maintain a clinical caseload as appropriate while serving as the clinical lead during assigned coverage
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and program standards in accordance with applicable requirements
Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active, unrestricted, independent clinical license in any U.S. state or territory, including LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, Psychologist, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory, lead, or clinical management experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, families, and/or vulnerable populations
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, behavioral health best practices, and clinical supervision
  • Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to provide onsite PRN coverage in the Big Bend region of Texas
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting unaccompanied minors, foster care, refugee populations, residential treatment, and/or child welfare
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary behavioral health teams
  • Experience in crisis response or high-acuity behavioral health environments
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience supporting federal or government-funded behavioral health programs
  • Flexible availability to support varying program needs
