Principal Strategist – Target

Location: Connecticut, USA

Salary: $123,100.00 – $221,600.00 USD (range; hourly rate not applicable)

We’re looking for a Senior Strategy Specialist to lead our Enterprise Strategy team. This role involves collaborating across internal and external partners to identify market, channel, and customer opportunities, drive high‑level analysis and critical thinking, and deliver execution plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of long‑term roadmap and initiatives for the organization.
  • Analyze retail trends, competitors and customers to uncover new concepts and services.
  • Drive program execution across project teams to ensure quality, critical thinking, deliverables, collaboration and results communication.
  • Partner with senior leaders in Marketing, Advertising and Customer Experience to influence business decisions.
  • Collaborate with Systems & Engineering leaders to focus on capabilities and grow the team’s knowledge base.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in enterprise strategy roles in management consulting, corporate strategy or related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with a proven ability to create long‑term strategy.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Valid experience driving high‑level analysis, enterprise‑wide collaboration and execution.
  • Optional experience in transformation or digital strategy.
