They provide deep understanding of stakeholder needs, business processes, and desired outcomes. They work closely with business users, SMEs, product owners, developers, data engineers, and QA teams.</p><br> <ul><br><li>Understand business needs and objectives</li><br> <br><li>Ensure data initiatives align to business objectives</li><br> <br><li>Elicit and analyze business requirements and use cases</li><br> <br><li>Create user stories and process flows</li><br> <br><li>Create shared understanding across stakeholders</li><br> <br><li>Identify process improvement opportunities</li><br> <br><li>Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities</li><br> <br><li>Act as the "voice of the business" throughout the delivery lifecycle .</li><br> </ul><br><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><br> <ul><br><li>Lead requirements elicitation with stakeholders</li><br> <br><li>Analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities</li><br> <br><li>Create and maintain:</li><br> <br><li>Business rules and requirements documentation</li><br> <br><li>Business use cases</li><br> <br><li>Process models</li><br> <br><li>Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are feasible</li><br> <br><li>Manage stakeholder communications and expectations</li><br> </ul><br><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><br> <ul><br><li>Strong requirements elicitation and analysis skills</li><br> <br><li>Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills</li><br> <br><li>Experience translating business processes into Agile requirements</li><br> <br><li>Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills</li><br> <br><li>Familiarity with how to influence without authority</li><br> <br><li>Strong track record of consensus building and delivering value to the business</li><br> <br><li>Business acumen</li><br> <br><li>Experience working on data, reporting, BI, or data warehouse initiatives</li><br> <br><li>Experience in Jira and Confluence</li><br> </ul><br><p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><br> <ul><br><li>Agile/Scrum experience</li><br> <br><li>Business process mapping</li><br> <br><li>Data visualization tools</li><br> <br><li>ETL and data warehousing concepts</li><br> </ul><br><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><br> <ul><br><li>BA or BS degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant experience</li><br> <br><li>Experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related role</li><br> <br><li>Knowledge of databases and reporting solutions</li><br> <br><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively</li><br> <br><li>Relevant IIBA, PMI, or Scrum Alliance certification preferred</li><br> </ul><br><p>Compensation at Pearson is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, and location.</p><br> <br><p>The full-time salary range for this role is $85,000 – $100,000.
