Sr. Solutions Architect - Applied AI for Emerging Products, AWS Applied AI Solutions GTM

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners.

Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

Are you passionate about transforming how enterprises manage their financial operations through the power of agentic AI. Do you envision a future where intelligent automation eliminates the friction in contract-to-cash workflows, connecting the dots across contract management, billing, invoicing, collections, and cash application that no single system holds today. Then come help us bring the next generation of AI-powered financial intelligence to market at AWS.

As a Specialist Solutions Architect, you will work at the intersection of AI, enterprise finance systems, and real-world business operations

You will own the technical relationship with design-partner customers, serving as their primary architectural guide from early engagement through production, managing delivery cadences, architecture syncs, and product issue prioritization. You will be both the voice of the customer to internal product teams and a hands-on practitioner who builds demos, validates releases, and enables implementations. Externally, you will author blog posts, reference architectures, and perspective documents that establish AWS's point of view in the enterprise finance AI domain.

Key job responsibilities
- Customer Architecture & Delivery Ownership: Serve as the primary Solutions Architect for key customer engagements: own weekly delivery plans, architecture syncs, and the end-to-end technical relationship from proof-of-concept through production deployment across enterprise finance environments
- Product Quality & Launch Readiness: Rigorously validate product releases across development stages (preview, beta, GA), proactively identifying blockers, filing issues, and building demo environments that showcase AI-driven contract-to-cash workflows to maintain customer confidence through launch milestones
- Domain Solution Design: Design and validate reference architectures for applying agentic AI to enterprise finance processes, including contract interpretation, invoice validation, collections optimization, and cash application across ERP, CLM, and AR system landscapes
- Technical Unblocking & Integration: Drive resolution of complex technical issues across identity, data integration, and platform layers, with particular focus on integration patterns across heterogeneous finance technology stacks (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Salesforce, and AR automation platforms)
- Field Enablement & Thought Leadership: Build enablement assets (demo environments, sandbox configurations, solution guides) that scale the team's ability to demonstrate value, while authoring technical blogs and reference architectures that establish AWS's differentiated approach to finance AI
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across product management, engineering, business development, and customer success teams to shape product roadmap priorities informed by direct customer feedback from enterprise finance stakeholders
