Position Overview – Specialty Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry & Transplant)

Location: Remote (U.S.)
Employment Type: Full‑time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 7:30 pm (no weekends or holidays)

As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician on the arenaflex CarePlus Mail Order team, you will be the critical bridge between prescribers, patients, and our clinical pharmacists. Your primary focus will be accurate data entry, prescription verification, and reputed company communication to resolve any issues that could delay therapy delivery, especially for transplant patients whose medication schedules are time‑sensitive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Verification: Accurately input prescription reputed company, patient demographics, and insurance information into arenaflex’s proprietary pharmacy management system.
  • Prescription Triage: Identify questionable or incomplete prescriptions and route them reputed company to the supervising pharmacist for clarification.
  • Outbound Communication: Initiate calls and fax physicians, clinics, or insurance representatives to obtain missing information, clarify dosage, or confirm formulary substitutions.
  • Transplant Support: Prioritize transplant medication orders, ensuring that dosing, timing, and special handling requirements are met without delay.
  • Multi‑Tasking in a High‑Volume Environment: Manage multiple patient referrals simultaneously while maintaining a customer‑service mindset and meeting strict turnaround times.
