<div><strong>About the role</strong><br/><br/>As a Senior Native iOS Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, testing, and delivering reliable native iOS applications that address business and client requirements. You will be a valued member of the application development team and work collaboratively with technical program managers, technical leads, developers, quality engineering teams, and other stakeholders.<br/><br/><strong>Work model</strong><br/><br/>This is a remote role based on business requirements in Bentonville, AR. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.<br/><br/><strong>Important Disclaimer:</strong><br/><br/><strong>Please note: A few of our roles may require in-person interviews at Cognizant offices or client locations, depending on project or client needs.</strong> <br/><br/><strong>In this role, you will:</strong><br/><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable native iOS applications using Swift and established mobile architecture patterns.</li><li>Analyze business and technical requirements, recommend effective solutions, and lead technical conversations with program managers, technical leads, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Build high-quality application features by following industry coding standards and creating unit tests that meet or exceed project coverage requirements.</li><li>Support the end-to-end delivery of application features, ensuring they are successfully tested, deployed to production, and maintained.</li><li>Implement appropriate application monitoring solutions based on client and project requirements.</li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation, including application designs and service specifications, while guiding developers in preparing functional and technical specifications.</li></ul><br/><strong>What you need to have to be considered</strong><br/><ul><li>6 to 8 years of professional experience developing native iOS applications.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Swift and the native iOS development ecosystem.</li><li>Hands-on experience applying MVC and/or MVVM architecture patterns.</li><li>Experience developing unit tests and delivering code that meets defined quality and coverage standards.</li><li>Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.</li></ul><br/><strong>These will help you stand out</strong><br/><ul><li>Experience developing applications with Objective-C.</li><li>Experience implementing application monitoring and production-support solutions.</li><li>Experience creating technical designs, service specifications, and other application documentation.</li><li>Experience mentoring developers or providing guidance on functional and technical specifications.</li><li>Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.</li></ul><br/>We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
