[Remote] Senior Technical Recruiter — Contract with Option to Hire

The company is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter for a 6–12 month contract to own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, partner with Engineering leaders, and support hiring strategy and execution. Responsibilities Own full-cycle recruiting across multiple technical roles, from kickoff and sourcing through offer and close Partner closely with Engineering leaders and hiring managers to define profiles, develop recruiting strategies, and keep searches moving Proactively source and engage highly qualified passive technical talent Conduct recruiter screens and effectively assess both technical alignment and overall fit Manage multiple searches and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment Create a strong candidate experience throughout the entire interview process Use recruiting data and funnel metrics to identify challenges and adjust search strategies Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within our ATS Help improve recruiting processes, interview practices, and hiring efficiency as we scale Skills 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical/engineering hiring Proven experience recruiting for roles such as Software Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Platform Engineering, or other highly technical positions Experience working in a fast-paced startup, high-growth technology company, or similarly dynamic environment is required Strong sourcing skills and demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive technical talent Comfortable independently managing multiple searches at different stages Strong hiring manager partnership and stakeholder management skills Ability to move quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and operate with limited oversight Excellent communication, organization, and candidate management skills Experience with tokenization, payment processing, or security products BA/BS degree A knack for out-of-the-box thinking that thrives in a fast-paced startup environment Experience with Lever is highly preferred Benefits Remote-first work philosophy with flexibility to support work-life balance If located within 30 miles of an office location, a hybrid schedule with some in-person time Company Overview VGS is the World'd Leader in Payment Tokenization It was founded in 2015, and is headquartered in San Francisco, California, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
