Part-Time Social Media Specialist — Facebook + New Instagram Growth

We’re looking for a US-based, part-time Social Media Specialist to help manage an established client’s Facebook page and launch a new Instagram account.

This is a small, focused account, not a full-time social media management position. We’re looking for someone efficient, creative, and knowledgeable about organic engagement who would like to build a relationship with our agency and potentially take on additional accounts over time.

The Client

The client has an established brand and is very particular about quality, voice, and presentation. The owners are hands-on, so you'll receive feedback and direction—but we also want someone who brings fresh ideas to the table.

We don't want generic Canva posts, repetitive captions, or content created simply to check a box.

The goal is to respect the existing brand while making its social presence more interesting, engaging, and effective.

Initial Focus

You'll work primarily on one account:

Assist with ongoing Facebook content and engagement

Launch the client's Instagram account

Repurpose/adapt appropriate content between platforms

Help develop Reels, Stories, posts, and other engaging content

Engage with relevant accounts and audiences

Look for practical ways to increase organic reach and followers

Track what's working and recommend adjustments

We already manage the client relationship, so we're not looking for someone to spend hours creating elaborate strategy decks or reports. We want those hours spent making the social accounts better.

Who We'd Like to Find

You understand organic Facebook and Instagram growth, have a good eye for content, write well, and can work efficiently.

You also understand the difference between being creative and going off-brand.

You should be comfortable working with hands-on business owners and receiving feedback while still bringing your own ideas and recommendations.

You must be US-based and generally available during US business hours.

The bigger opportunity is proving the model works. If we find someone who produces strong work and helps us improve engagement and reach, we have the potential to add additional client accounts over time.

When Applying

Please keep your proposal short and answer these questions:

Have you launched or grown an Instagram account organically? Show us an example.

How would you spend your time if you had only 5–8 hours per month on an account like this?

What do you do to increase engagement beyond simply publishing posts?

Please include examples of social accounts you've personally worked on.

Start your proposal with “SOCIAL GROWTH” so we know you read the full description.
